Founded in 1517 by François I and 80% destroyed after the bombings of 1944, our town has two faces, blending vestiges of the past with peaceful living and modernity. Visit the 16th century Notre-Dame Cathédrale and its impressive pipe organs and see the Malraux Museum, now the 2nd largest cllection of Impressionist painting in France.
