Brig, 2220 feet (685m) above sea-level junction of international routes at the foot of the Simplon, is a popular excursion centre for the Upper-Valais including Aletsch-Region. Railway stations of the Furka-Oberalp, Brig-Visp-Zermatt, and the Glaciers-Express, also terminus station of the Bern Loetschberg-Simplon railway. Starting point of alpine-buses over the Simplon to Domodossola and Borromeo isles, and of couse Saas Fee.
How to get to the hotel: When arriving in Brig, from Sion or Visp : follow the direction to the train station (Bahnhof), pass by the station and go straight on for 300 meters. Then, take the second road on the right to the Minotel Ambassadors entrance. |
