Nestled in 32 acres of grounds, the grand Edwardian mansion of Woodside hotel, offers its guests a secluded and quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.The hotel s 74 bedrooms are located in modern accommodation buildings adjacent to the main Edwardian mansion house and have either en-suite shower or bathrooms. All have free Wi-Fi, TV, bottled mineral water, hot drink facilities and biscuits, hairdryer, well lit desk suitable as a working area and Gilchrist and Soames BeeKind toiletries. The rooms range from singles and doubles to family rooms, 29 of the rooms are on the ground floor.An ideal venue for weddings, the hotel holds a civil ceremony licence for 3 function rooms, has a dedicated wedding planner and can accommodate up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast and 185 for an evening reception. The extensive grounds and the small wooden bridge provide perfect romantic spots for photographic opportunities. The bridal suite has its own patio area. The hotel is also an ideal conference centre with outside team building activities, indoor leisure facilities and numerous meeting and private dining rooms. The leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, fitness suite, croquet lawn, tennis court and 9 hole pitch n putt golf course.Free car parking onsite.

"Nice Setting and Grounds. Attractive homely feel. Better quality room than recent stay in London."
"On booking in, unwelcome reception regarding what had been booked. Booked through and this stated Breakfast included, the receptionist however believed it did not and was quite rude. The issue however was resolved and the rest of staff were very pleasant. Room smelt damp throughout stay."

"Staff were very attentive and food was of a good quality. Staff coped well during check out that morning even with problems with the swipe machine."
"The rooms were a bit tired, and plumbing noises were an issue during the night.This is a residential conference centre so be aware of large groups in all public areas...not an issue but just needs noting."
