Waldhotel Am Ilsestein is situated in the beautiful Ilse Valley directly at the national park of the “Hochharz“, below the legendary “Ilsestein” (rock of Ilse). Here you will find relaxation. The way to the hotel ends directly in front of it, where the national park begins. For this reason, the street may only be used by our guests and adjacent owners.

The hotel has double and family rooms. The family rooms consist of 2 double rooms connected with a door and a share bath. All of them are equipped with shower, WC, satellite TV and direct dial telephone. An elevator is available. Furthermore, we offer a spacious, high-quality arranged suite.

A camp bed or baby bed as well as a 9 wheel chair are at your disposal. The whole building of the hotel is wheelchair accessible and 9 rooms are suitable for handicapped people.

 You will enjoy the view of the forest around the hotel. Some of the rooms have a view of the rock “Ilsestein”, which gave the name to our house. Find relaxation in our indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium as well as in our chill out room. The spa area can be reached by the elevator.
