The Hotel Villa Edera is a brand-new hotel classified as a three-stars superior hotel located in the Lido within 2 minutes from the public transport docks to St. Mark's Square, reachable within 10 minutes. ideal for holidays at the sea, business trips, congresses and to enjoy the International Film Festival or to play at the Casino, the hotel is an excellent starting point to visit the fascinating Venice city.The waterbuses lines n. 1 or n. 52 leave every 5 – 10 minutes all day and every 20 minutes all night.All rooms (No-Smoking) are decorated in an beautiful Venitian style. All are equipped with: air conditioning, heating, telephone, minibar, safety box, terrace (on request), all facilities with bathtub or shower and hair-dryer and satellite TV.In summertime breakfast is served in our blossoming garden.

great location on Lido. good alternative to low budget alternatives in venice. decent and nice atmosphere.
internet cost extra. not staffed at night or early mornings, which was written but not discussed and became stressful when checking out early. rather unfriendly and brisk. cannot comment on breakfast since had to leave beforehand.

The hotel is located in a lovely Lido neighborhood, and a short walk to the water bus, and to the shopping district. The staff was friendly, though distant. Part of that distance is undoubtedly related to the language barrier, as I speak English
I had a single room, which was unfortunately located on the first floor. The room was just across from the kitchen, and a short distance from the lobby. The soundproofing was totally inadequate, and I was aware of kitchen noise from shortly after 06:00, and lobby noise constantly during the day. Should you stay at this hotel, avoid first floor rooms.
The breakfast was very uninteresting, with only white bread with no texture and little flavor, nor was there any fruit. I had just stayed in a hotel in Milan (same price), which offered several types of bread, fresh fruit, espresso, etc.
In addition, there was no place in the room to place a laptop computer for work.
