Nice staff, very good location

Not very large rooms, problems with heatig and water supply, windows have wide gaps through which the cold wind was felt even inside the room

The hotel is centrally located which is good and it is easy to find

It is very expensive (£169 plus VAT came to nearly £200) For that price I would expect something MUCH better. They did upgrade me for the same price and the room I was given, although large, was noisy and very tired. The wallpaper was poorly applied, scuffed and the airconditioning unit was obviously an add-on (there was a pipe running from it which looked very unsightly). The bathroom needed money spending on it and the secondary double glazing was not good enough. There was also no light apart from the bedside light in the main part of the room. As I said, I was upgraded so I dread to think what the non-upgraded room would have been like.

We asked before making the reservation if they had a meeting room avaliable for a few hours. The hotel told us that they could arrange something and it would be free of charge. When we should use the room they told us that we had to go to a different hotel down the street, and we had to pay a quite high rate for using a "bar facility" in less that an hour.
