Located in the very heart of Torquay the Somerville is unusual in having its own car park which means that guests can leave their vehicles behind and explore on foot. Torquay town centre, the harbourside with its bars and restaurants and the beaches are all just a five minute walk away. Attractions such as Torre Abbey, Kents Cavern and Paignton Zoo are also within easy reach.
The Somerville has rooms to suit everyone. For those on a budget the standard room offers superior comfort at a low price. Our deluxe rooms offer more space whilst our suites offer the ultimate in comfort and space and are the only rooms to have baths as well as showers. All of our rooms have been individually designed and have high quality beds to ensure a good night's sleep.
For guests on business in particular we are happy to offer late check in and early check outs by prior arrnagment. For our leisure guests we offer one of the longest breakfast times in the area. During the week breakfast is from 8.15am until 9.30am. We extend this at weekends to give an even more leisurely sart to the day and end breakfast at 10.00am. Our breakfast has been awarded a Breakfast Award by Visit Britian.
