Located in Tettenhall Wood Wolverhampton, with easy access to motorway links and only 17 miles from Birmingham. Set in 4 acres of manicured gardens and ornamental woodland. With free WiFi and ample free parking. This hotel is somewhere very special with a wealth of character and charm. A 19th Century manor House originally built in 1865 which still retains many of its original features including the rosewood panelled Great Hall and elegant staircase and has recently benefitted from the addition of a state of the art conference centre.
Please note, refurbishment work will be taking place in public areas between 2 - 20 January 2012, however there will be no disruption to service

Excellent value for money - I will happily stay here again on my next visit from Canada
Re: Competence: On the only night I opted to stay in for dinner I had to wait for over an hour for it to be served. It turned out that my order had been forgotten. However, it was an extremly busy night for the servers and I understand this problem is extremely rare.

Staff was very friendly.
Food was tastefull.
The rooms are in a horrible condition.
Most unpleasant smells in the rooms and corridors.
Very long waiting time at the bar and in the restaurant, due to lack of communication and bad organizing. Everybody does a bit of everything and is running around everywhere.
There was a big hole in the windowframe of the bathroom.
The height of the shower was only suitable for very small people.
After flushing the toilet, you have to wait for hours to reflush.
