The College Hotel is an intimate, warm and luxurious boutique hotel in Amsterdam's fashionable Zuid (South) area,
right in the centre of the city's Fashion & Museum District.

Behind the walls of the former secondary school building on the Roelof Hartstraat in Amsterdam South, a unique
concept can be found. The building accommodates, since May 2005, The College Hotel, a teaching hotel established
by the ROC of Amsterdam and representatives from the catering industry in order to improve the education of the
young students and to bring new talent to the hospitality industry. Since 2008 The College Hotel is owned by the
Nedstede Group. The original training concept has remained the same.

Since the opening of The College Hotel, 80 students from the ROC of Amsterdam and Flevoland ( but also from other
MBO and HBO courses ) are trained in practical tasks in a real life situation and are schooled in all aspects of the
hospitality industry. The students work under the supervision of experienced teachers and hotel professionals.

The College Hotel, which has four stars, has 40 stylish boutique rooms, which are all individually designed, 4 private
meeting rooms, a beautiful lounge/bar, a sunny terrace and a restaurant in the former gymnasium. The unique
concept, the design and warm hospitality ensures that The College Hotel is visited by ( well known and famous )
international guests from all over the world. A few years ago the Hotel won the Prix Villegiature for the “best interior
design in a hotel in Europe”
