Nice clean room, very comfortable bed, wide choice at breakfast, pleasant location
 
We did request a non smoking room when making the reservation, but were initally given a smoking room. The smell was very strong as soon as we entered the room & could not have stayed. However, we immediately contacted reception & were given an alternative non smoking room, with no fuss. This room was on the ground floor & other guests could pass the window though (which did have net curtains). We noticed one of the windows had a large 'crack' in it which needed replacing. These issues did not spoil our stay though.

The restaurant was very efficient and the food was cooked and presented to perfection.
 
It was a very hot weekend, and although there was air conditioning, it took me a while to find out that it existed and how to control it.

I had booked an executive double but when I turned up the hotel claimed to have not had the details of my booking. They gave me a single room with no working heating (it was -3 outside). When I checked out my company name was on the bill which they could only have got from my original booking! Very dissaopinted!
