Schwabia is a region in the south west of Bavaria which stretches from the Ries to Allgäu. With the Allgäu, Lechfeld and the Swabian Danube Marshes the region of Swabia has many varied holiday areas with countless comfortable hotels. The Danube Cycle Path and the Swabia-Allgau path give plenty of opportunity for an active stay in Swabia. The Autobahns A7, A8, A96 and A980 all lead to Swabia.
