Das "Starhotel Excelsior" befindet sich direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof von Bologna und nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom historischen Stadtzentrum entfernt. Das moderne Hotel entstand aus dem Zusammenschluss des Starhotel Alexander und des Milano Excelsior Hotels.
Die Gästezimmer und die Suite des Hotels wurden elegant und komfortabel gestaltet.
