We were in the superior double, apartment-like room. Very nice, large room, clean bathroom, skylights, recently remodeled. Well equiped with sound system, TV, mini fridge - but not high end. Nice furniture. Close to train station and Old Town within walking distance. Nice restaurants in the area.

Although room was nice (see postive comments) the price/value ratio was a bit too high. For 250 CHF/night, this was definitely not a 5-star hotel. But, hey, this is Switzeralnd =)

impossible to stay in after 9am, that's when the cleaners make the rooms, floor by floor, regarldess whether you are staying several days or leaving the same morning (check-out time is 11am in any case, so they should really wait until then), and if you are still getting ready and ask them to come back, they may well forget (it happened to us). The lovely reception staff made a note that we would like the cleaners to come in after 11am only, but we did not renew this request every day, and on one occasion the cleaners came in our room whle we were still in bed after a late dinner!! I have never seen a hotel where the customer must adaprt their sleeping pattern to the cleaners' working shift.

Centrally located. Good for St. Gallen to have parking space available. 10 Euro is o.k., free parking for hotel guests would be better. Staff handles the little problem that cars have to be parked in two rows behind eachother in a professional way.

Nothing exiting from the outside but interior o.k.
