"I paid for a week in a basic room but was given a larger "privilege" room with a private terrace and 2 seating areas. I believe it's recently renovated. Everything is new and modern with a central lighting control, very good air conditioning system, a nice king bed, great black-out curtains, and in-room espresso machine (pay 1.80 euro per cartridge). The free computers in the breakfast area are great. The staff is helpful, very friendly and speaks English. One nice surprise is the hotel is literally on the same block as the main P. de Gracia subway stop for RENFE trains and all lines of the Metro. This makes it very easy to get anywhere, the other side of town, the airport, Sitges and so on. It's also very near several tourist sites, Eixample, and a short walk down to Las Ramblas. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations."
