Please note that due to renovation work our SPA area will be closed between 04th January and 18th January 2012. Guests do have the possibility to use the SPA area of the Marriott, which is 3 walking minutes away from the SIDE.
The SIDE Hotel is the one-of-a-kind design hotel in the heart of Hamburg with 178 rooms and suites. The hotel offers 6 flexible function rooms with daylight for up to 300 people. There is a lounge located on the 8th floor with roof terrace for outdoor events. Relax in the spa area with swimming pool, Jacuzzi pool, sauna, steam bath and massage facilities.
The wellness oasis in the heart of Hamburg comprises an area of 450 m² and presents itself with a refreshingly colourful style and luxurious equipment.
Yellow is a symbol of well-being – therefore the treatment rooms are in the 'yellow box'. The relaxation programme includes different forms of body treatments, Thai massage, facials, peelings and lymphatic drainage.
We have opened a new Restaurant [m]eatery in October 2009, where you can taste the best steaks in the city. The concept of [m]eatery - name for restaurant and the bar - means the best wine and drinks. As we all know, soft steaks and stark drinks belong to the steak's tradition of USA.

On Sundays, we offer our guests a late check-out until 08:00 p.m. free of charge (according to availability).

 the heating system in Side hotel does not work properly. It happend now several times that when I arrived late the room was ice cold and did not get warm. I even got ill 2 years ago. Last time I had even called the reception some hours before my arrival to make sure the room was warmed up. Still cold. Reception said it might take an hour before it would be warmer. I think this is not acceptable |

| Overpriced, by no means "5 Star superior". Had booked two single rooms, both had lot of wear and tear, need renovation. Lot of dust on writing desk, bed table, windowsill, TV, heavy water stains around glass surfaces in bathroom.
Restaurant "(M)eatery": also overpriced, New York Cut of good but not above average quality. "Medium done" ordered "well done" delivered. No possibility to change side orders from the suggested pommes allumettes to anything else. |

Rooms are very fusion and neat. LIke the idea and design of it

| Rooms are not very baby-proof, example the luggage and tv table too low. Also for the bathroom shower, not very convenient getting in and out. |
