The Charles Hotel opened in October 2007 and is part of The Rocco Forte Collection.  It has 160 contemporary designed rooms including 28 suites and is located in the city centre near The Old Botanical Garden.

The restaurant DAVVERO is directly connected to our summer terrace, with a view over the Old Botanical Garden. The guest savours traditional Mediterranean cuisine. The Charles Hotel also provides the perfect venue for your next Munich conference, meeting or event, for up to 600 people.

The Charles Spa, with its 15 metres indoor swimming pool is the largest hotel pool in Munich. Our fitness area offers a miscellaneous selection for work-out. The Charles Hotel provides five treatment rooms and a manicure and pedicure area, sauna, steam bath and a relaxing area.

Famous shopping areas, such as Theatinerstraße, Maximilianstraße and famous historical monuments, are within walking distance. Munich offers a wide variety of museums, a vibrant art scene and its renowned “Englischer Garten”, which is the largest municipal park world wide. The public main train station is in 5 minutes walking distance and Munich Airport can easily be reached within 40 minutes. 

Room descriptions:

Classic King room:  A contemporary designed 40sqm/ 430sqf room with a luxurious king size bed.  Rooms have either a park or city view and are well equipped with a flat screen TV, broadband internet access and a limestone bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Deluxe King room: A contemporary designed 40sqm/ 430sqf room with a luxurious king size bed.  Rooms have park view and are well equipped with a flat screen TV, broadband internet access, a limestone bathroom with separate bath and shower and a French balcony.

Junior Suite: A contemporary designed 48sqm / 516sqf suite with a king size bed. Rooms have either a park or city view and are well equipped with a flat screen TV, broadband internet access and a limestone bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Executive Suite: A contemporary designed 73sqm / 785sqf suite with a king size bed. Suites have park view and are equipped with a separate living and sleeping area, a French balcony, a flat screen TV, broadband internet access and a limestone bathroom.
