The Waldhotel Heiligenhaus is very quietly situated on the edge of a nature reserve in a central location in the city triangle Düsseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal. The Waldhotel is a hotel which was built in 1926 by the community. In 1989 it was submitted to a complete refurbishment and was later extended in five construction stages to the today’s four-star hotel.
With the completion of the new conference centre “Waldhaus” in September 2003 the last step of the extension of the Waldhotel Heiligenhaus was reached. There are 91 guest rooms, 10 modern conference rooms, 2 foyers for product presentations and a light-flooded restaurant with view of the gardens as well as a harmoniously integrated wintergarden available for you. A wellness area and a fitness room in the hotel are available for the guest to relax. Outdoor activities are practicable in the adjacent nature reserve.
Attentive and friendly staff characterize the inviting atmosphere of this hotel which represents a kind of symbiosis of tradition and topicality. All activities are adjusted to the well-being of the guest and his or her very special wishes.
