This 5-star hotel has a total of 32 luxuriously furnished and equipped rooms. You can park in our hotels' car park and reach your room on the upper floors easily by taking the lift. For extra requests please contact room service. The hotels rules are very accommodating when it comes to travelling with pets.

The five-star Residenz Heinz Winkler is located south of Munich, near the Lake Chiemsee, nestled in picturesque Bavarian landscape. Here you can go sailing on the Lake Chiemsee, ski on the Kampenwand and Steinplatte mountains, golf in impressive surroundings and visit the Salzburg Festival or the island of Herrenchiemsee.
We offer you amenities typical for a small but nice Relais and Châteaux Hotel, as well as the pleasures of one of the best cuisines in the world. The hotel is a place made for the art of living: the dream of a perfect blend of lifestyle and well-being, culture and exclusive dishes.
The hotel with its 32 rooms providing a unique ambiance as well as the restaurant are managed by Heinz Winkler himself. For more than 20 times the restaurant has been awarded 3 Michelin stars. Today it resembles a pilgrimage site for epicureans. In his kitchen the chef and his team of 20 cooks create delicate dishes, which melt in the guests’ mouths. The cellar offers about 25.000 bottles of wine, including very precious and rare Châteaux wines like Latour and Lafite. The oldest vintage wine is from the year 1874.
