Attractive rate for a top-tier Marriott property and centrally located to northern chicago suburbs. Friendly staff. Adheres to the room preferences set in my profile as best as possible without asking for them if booked far enough in advance (e.g Room Fridge, Extra Towels, etc). Workout room is small, but open 24 hours. Individual TV's are on the treadmills and eliptical machines. Club lounge breakfast and hors d'oeuvres are generally good.

Club (Concierge) Lounge for Elite members is sometimes difficult to get to. Only 2 out of the 4 elevators travel to the club level on the 9th floor and requires you to swipe the key card prior to pressing the club lounge button. I do not always get the "club" elevator when pressing the up button (from any floor other than the lobby floor) and have to sometimes take 2 elevators to get to the club lounge. The staircases to the club lounge are locked as well so you are forced to take the elevator. Bottled water in the refridgerators is not always replenished. Cleaning staff works in limited hours. Leaving dishes in the hallway often do not get picked up until the next day. Ruth Chris Steakhouse attached to the hotel does not do room service.

Very nice hotel. I would recommend to other colleagues.

The workout facility is very limited, so if you like to work out this might not be the hotel for you.

The hotel is located close to I94 and not well protected against the continuous noise.

October 2007
The staff was outstanding and the value for price was very high.

I was in an adjoining room and the door that separates the two rooms was thin, with quite a space (light coming through) underneath. The guest in the room next to me was on a phone conversation and I could hear her clearly -- without attempting to.
