The Regent Hotel is a modern, stylish building with a design in warm colours and an elegant decor. Located in the heart of Munich, it enjoys a central location close to the main station.

Although booked early arrival, no room at 12 clock free
Room must have been a staff room and not cleaned for weeks (photos I like to offer)
At breakfast, the table was not cleaned from the previous guests, brought no fresh coffee
Fruit juices were empty, despite several notices were these refilled after 30 minutes

Good friendly, helpful staff
NO AIR CONDITIONING, HENCE NOISY IF OPEN WINDOW. BREAKFAST CROWDED AT TIMES, UNABLE TO CANCEL BOOKING FOR FINAL DAYS. COLULDN'T BOOK DIRECTLY WITH HOTEL ON WEB, HAD TO GO THROUGH AGENCY, HENCE LOST 3 DAYS COSTS, OVER 300 EUROS! EVEN THOUGH GAVE WEEKS NOTICE. IN MOST HOTELS CAN CANCEL UP TO DAYS BEFORE HAND.

Breakfast
I had a very small single room, the temperature was more than 35 degrees celsius. when opening the window, the noises from the street and the main station were so loud that I did not sleep more than 3 hours in the summer. I think I am quite used to noise around my bedroom since I used to live next to a train route as well as next to an airport which did not disturb my sleep at all so one can imagine the noises around my hotel room.

central location near Hauptbahnof. Staff were friendly and helpful.
our room was like a dogbox, pokey and badly-appointed. We saw into other rooms and they were much better-appointed than ours. The room needs a good make-over, the heating could not be turned off so it was often too hot in the room, and to open the windows meant traffic kept us awake at night. There was no cooling in the room either.

Breakfast was ok. For business purpose, the hotel is ok, because well connected. For tourist purpose, I would rather choose a nicer location (the area around the station is not really recommendable).
I did not like the hotel too much. The room was extremely hot, although it was not hot outside (seemed as if they hat already heated beginning of Sept). The room was big, but somehow I did not feel comfortable there.

good value for money; central location
i booked a non-smoking double and guaranteed my booking by credit card, when i arrived i was told they only had smoking doubles - otherwise it would have to be a single room (beds are tiny for me as i am 6.5). even worse: toilet DID NOT FLUSH!!!
