The RAMADA Frankfurt City Center & Financial District was built in 1893 and has been lavishly reconstructed and refurbished throughout. Hidden behind a historic façade, it is set amidst the city’s skyscrapers, right in the centre and within walking distance to the railway station, the metro and bus stations.
Since June 2006, the hotel has been providing 54 additional air-conditioned business rooms, thus featuring today a total of 105 rooms. There are 2 rooms adapted to the needs of disabled guests. Furthermore, the establishment provides 4 non-smoking floors and 3 suites.
All Frankfurt attractions, including historic sights, museums, national and international restaurants, bars and the financial district can be reached within a few minutes on foot or by taxi.

It was a nightmare. They have to re-decorate that hotel. The rooms are also very very dirty

Had to wait 6 hours in a room without heat until finally moved to another room which I was told was not available when I first issued my complaint. It does not say anywhere that the area is very questionable. (A lot of prostitutes right around the corner) Was advised by cabby not to go out alone in this area at night.

The room was nice and practical. Possibility to make coffee and tea in the room was great.
City Maps and bus and train maps were not easily available in the reception.
The breakfast: The restaurant is very noisy and there´s not enough room for everybody. Eggs were overcooked. There was only one and very slow coffee machine so that people have to stand and wait a long time to get coffee. Meanwhile the waiter takes the plates away. There´s a lot to improve with the breakfast. There´s no knives to cut the bread, for example. There´s no newspapers at all.
There is also need to improve the English skills of the Staff. The Fair Center is not 0,8 km away from the hotel. Maybe the double, 1,5 km. But the tramway goes near, so that´s not a problem.

No problems at all. Very close to the train (5 min walk) station yet not to close that the seedy elements of the station impact on you. Very close to city centre (5 min walk). Staff are excellent. Rooms were very clean, modern and spacious. Overall, I have no complaints.
