I didn't have breakfast, so cannot comment on food. Location was ideal for my business purposes

Room was VERY small! |

Gary the concierge was outstanding-nothing too much trouble.
Convenient for theatre land
Clean, comfortable rooms

|
service charge is already added for room service (at 12.5% plus a £1.50 tray charge), yet staff still stand and wait for tips, making you feel a bit cheap if you don't tip extra (we ended up paying £40 for a £30 room service bill, due to this double tipping system)- we actually got told the service charge wasn't anything to do with the staff, so who does this go to?
Breakfast very slow, lots of tables clear, yet lots still waiting(get there early!)
Had to keep asking for things they'd forgotten at breakfast(butter, spoons, coffee etc) in end gave up asking!
mis-information on website-there is no book of tickets waiting at check-in as advertised. was told we would have a complimentary bottle of champagne, to compensate for lack of tickets but it never materialised. As it was a special weekend for us, we decided not to cause a fuss and spoil our weekend. |
