the fish tank in the lobby is just spectacular and unique.
it's in the middle of the touristy area of berlin. so expect big crowds as soon as you step out of the building.

ruhiges Zimmer,gute Matratzen,gute Schallisolierung,freundliches Barpersonal, sehenswertes Großaquarium im Innenhof über der Bar.
Preis/Leistung adäquat. Frühstück wie in Hotel dieser Preisklasse erwartet, aber mit 25,- teuer.
Waschtisch nicht funktionell, nur stylisch. Badezimmertür nicht leise zu öffnen oder zu schließen.
Spritzschutz Dusche zu klein, Abfluß nicht zu bedienen (defekt). In Spitzenzeiten zu wenig Tische für Frühstücksgäste. Sehr!!umständlich zu bedienende und überlastete Fahrstühle. Kein Weg zum Treppenhaus gekennzeichnet.

As a hotel and its facilities, the Berlin Radisson Blu is excellent.
When I travel to Berlin, I always try to take public transportation. The hotel is about 10-15 minute walk from either Hackescher Markt or Alexanderplatz station which was a pain on this trip because I had two bags without wheels this time. If I arrived to Berlin via plane on both ends of my trip this last time, this would not have been an issue. I will remember to consider that fact on my next trip.

Prime location for my business purposes. Nice and interesting hotel. Usually I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
There has been a massive logistical problem at breakfast. People were queing in front of the restaurant and many of us were seated in the lobby. On top of that my offer to have someone share the table with me in order to accomodate people faster has been disregarded. Furthermore the buffet left a lot to be desired. Overall everything around breakfast was poor this time in contrast to earlier stay and a shame for a hotel of this class!

Location is great: close to Alexanderplatz, Hakesche Höfe, brandenburger Tor
Great Concierge, very helpful
Gym is not maintained properly: one treadmill broken for 4 weeks now!!!, one crosstrainer broken as well. Management needs to step up regarding this badly!!
No real queen size or king size beds, instead two twin beds next to each other. Urks when you are a couple.
