This hotel flies the flag for German quality. It is in a good location for sightseeing, just a short walk from the Berliner Dom and Blue Church and next to Berlin Zoo. The rooms are very clean and modern and the restaurant/breakfast room is equally so, with highly attentive staff. The breakfast buffet is superb quality! It's everything you want from a city break hotel and more. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Not many nice restaurants in the local area, as far as I could see.

We are very pleased with our stay at this hotel.
Only negative was that CNN was missing in the available TV channels. Euronews was in the German speaking version, which I don't understand since there were 20-30 German TV stations available already. The ONLY other English speaking TV station available besides BBC1 was Russia Today, which we frankly could have been without.

the room on 8'th floor was beautiful. We enjoyed the view to Tiergarten and we also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and the roomservice also for dinner.
none. We shall return the the hotel as guesst next new year

Wonderfully friendly and attentive staff, breakfast service outstanding, high quality food and nice presentation, housekeeping extremely friendly and accommodating. A great experience, anytime again!

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, genau gegenüber vom Tiergarten. Der Bus 200 hält vor der Tür und die nächste Metrostation ist in einigen Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Der Ku`damm und das KaDeWe befinden sich in Laufabstand, aber zentral liegt das Hotel sicherlich nicht. Das Zimmer (844 zur Rückseite gelegen) war genau wie auf den Bildern im Internet.Es war nicht sehr gross aber für für 2 Personen aussreichend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.
Leider war der Spabereich während unseres Aufenthaltes (15/7 - 20/7)wegen dringender Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen. Das fanden wir ziemlich ärgerlich, denn wir hatten das Hotel hauptsächlich wegen seines Wellnessbereichs ausgesucht. Es wurde uns angeboten den Wellnessbereich des gegenüberliegenden Hotel Interconti zu nutzen. Davon haben wir aber keinen Gebrauch gemacht. Ausserdem wurde am letzten Tag dann auch noch die Bar umgebaut.
Die Klimaanlage lässt sich nicht genau einstellen (3 Stufen, kein Thermostat)und macht ausserdem relativ viel Lärm.

Sehr faires Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels im 4- und 5-Sterne-Segment.

Excelent location just vis a vis the Zoo, close to Gedächtniskirche, Tiergarten, Potsdamet Platz und not far from Brandenburger Tor & Reichstag. Largest hotel pool in town. Good rates, so overall, best value in town.
