The Hotel Phoenix am Hauptbahnhof is situated very central, towards to the Hamburg central station. This fact makes our hotel to the perfect starting point for any discovery tours through the metropolis Hamburg. The main shopping address of the town is within spitting distance. Further Sights of Hamburg, like the Alster, the harbour and the Old Town can be reached with surrounding public transport or by foot.

Directly opposite main railway station, very close to inner city. Competitive price.
 
Old building, inside and outside could do with a facelift. No lift, but staff offer to help carry your bags upstairs. Poor breakfast

The hotel is right across the Central Train station (Hamburg Hbf). The bathroom is clean.
 
The hotel is worn, all rooms are used by smokers as well as non-smokers. When asked for the (reserved) non-smokers room, I got the tip to just open the window because all rooms are the same. There was no heating in the bathroom.

to small rooms, noise level to high and only one socket for handy or tv or something else, and the parking place for 8€ a day has nothing to do with the hotel
