The Petit Palace San Bernardo hotel, which was completely renovated in 2006, is located in the centre of the city, in an emblematic building at the well known Plaza Santo Domingo, next to the Gran Via – the main shopping street in Madrid. | I enjoyed my stay here and would consider staying again, although I feel the Hotel decore did not quite acheive the origjinal vision they were shooting for and looked a little tied. |

Staff extremely friendly.
Location is excellent for food, shopping and Metro.

The high tech shower stall did not have a door and using the shower would wet the bathroom floor. Shower floor tiles too slippery. |

| Petite Palace Hightec Hotels is in general a nice hotel chain. Modern rooms with indirect lighting, flat screens and a huge shower. |
