NH Brussels City Centre

Business hours of reception: 24 hours
The NH Brussels City Centre is located in the heart of Brussels on Avenue Louise, the city’s elegant shopping and commercial centre. The hotel has newly been refurbished and is ideal for both business travellers and tourists alike.
We offer 246 rooms, including 9 suites, with a direct dial telephone, cable TV, mini bar, air conditioning, WLAN and a hair-dryer.
Our restaurant, which serves traditional Belgian cuisine, will take you on a culinary journey of discovery. The “shrimps-croquet” starter comes highly recommended. For your main course you could try our traditional steak tartar or the tagliatelle with scampi and smoked salmon.
We also provide a laundry service, car park (limited parking space, application senseful), gym area and a bar in our restaurant.

Guest evaluation of NH Brussels City Centre

guest rating:   (2,0 of 10)
on business travelling as an individual, under 31 years; travel season:February 2012
Heating was not working at all, window isolation very poor. As a result the room was very cold. Fortunately the stuff provided a mobile electric heater.

good breakfast - all the staff were very good!

The parking situation is very bad. Once you park the car - you cannot use it again because you may not find another parking space! No signs - so I did not even know where to park! This why I would not stay at this hotel again.

Very nice price for a good room in a wonderful part of the city.

The room was close to the lifts, so I heard some noise from time to time.

very friendly and helpful team at the reception

the brasserie area is very cold during winter times, due to direct access via revolving door, but the food is excellent. a curtain would help

on business under 31 years; travel season:December 2010
The hotel was incedible noisy with constructions/renovations taking place starting at 5am and finishing at 8am. You have to pay extra for the internet (approx €11 )which is completely rediculous, it is not an added luxury, even a modest hotel provides free internet.

Good value for money, good location.

The breakfast room was VEEERY full. It was almost impossible to get a seat even for people happy to share a table with strangers. It wouldn't hurt if the reception staff was a bit friendlier.

Perfect location in the very core of Brussels. Clean and efficient. Large choice of breakfeast options.

Extremely small room - the smallest I ever had.

A good hotel for business trips to Brussels. Very nice bath room.

No free internet access (18€ per day is quite expensive).

Very good price / quality ratio. CLose to EU and city center and idealy located in the Louise quarter. Excellent Breakfast

If you get a room on the street where the Tram pass and if you are a light sleeper you might get slightly disturbed by the noise/ vibration.

A)Only half from the heating elements were working. In the first night I had to dressup my jacket. The bathroom was very cold, and it didn't have any heating.Horible experience. B)The bed sheet was torn in the middle (5 holes). C)Internet acces service was available with cost in the room, and 15 min restrictioned in the hall. It would be usefull to have a free WI-FI acces at least in one side of the hallway.

 Good breakfast, but expensive

Very small room for this class, very much noise from the street gets into the room, shower surface small, bad & small selection of TV channels.

Nicely furnished rooms, excellent breakfast, and friendly staff. Problem described in negative section has been solved quickly after my complaint.

The hotel looks quite old style from the outside and in the common areas of the hotel (rooms are though more modern). I had reserved a non-smoking room. The room I got though was previously used as a smoking room (now non-smoking room) and smelled very badly. The reception organized then at my request a room that has always been used as non-smoking room, which did not smell at all. So you might want to insist on that detail (having a room that was always a non-smoking room and never used as smoking room) when making your reservation in case you might have a problem smoking odors.

A common Microwave for heating food should be there so that Hotel Guests can use for warming food thmselves. No common Microwave exists in the hotel.
