It's new, fairly clean, the staff is friendly
Well, you can't expect too much from a German hotel.. The rooms are small, expensive...No pool, no hot tub, no iron to get wrinkles out of your clothes, no microwave, no coffie pot..But I'm American, we're kind of spoiled.

friendly staff, helpful
location is in the middle of an industrial area, remote from anything interesting in Berlin, the river view is a look towards some run down factories and some dirty water.
the rooms are not individually furnished but rather look like the usual hotel furniture of sleeping factories like Mercure, Ramada and such
