Room was clean, check in was efficient. Good location, close to the zoo, public transportation and one of the big gay neighborhoods. It is a five to ten minute walk--there isn't much right outside--but it is close to some nice places.

Staff was inflexible and missing some basic amenities (no gym, no phone in room, no laundry). When I asked the front desk about a gym, they said "No". Normally, a hotel with no gym will have information about gyms in the area, but here it was just "No". They have no guest laundry, and again, no knowledge of laundry in the area. I wanted to extend a day but the staff said no, they said to check back in the morning I was to check out--they had no suggestions for similar places. In the end I found a better place nearby for 15 euros less than this hotel.

All in all the hotel was ok but there were a lot of things why I wouldn't recommend it. There was no parking for the guests. They have a parking garage but that's open for everyone. So if it's full the next available parking is in the parking garage of a competing hotel next door. That parking garage is way too small and costs 15 euros a night. The rooms are way to small. I'm sorry but for 74 euros a night I expect a little comfort. If u have 2 suitcases standing on the ground to pack out, walking is impossible. The rooms were clean but the elevators and the stairway were a mess. We are talkin about empty beer bottles and vomit. That's just disgusting. Anyway the staff wasn't too friendly either which could have made a lot of difference but i guess a big chain like that doesn't need to care about every single customer.
