The room was spacious, as I got a free upgrade to a double room for single occupancy. Nice homey feel. Well-equipped rooms, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast.

Some of the fruit at breakfast tasted spoiled. Also, while I don't mean this as criticism, I can't judge insider tips for the surrounding area because my business trip did not allow time for recreational activities.

Der Bischofshof gehört zu den Hotels, die ich liebe - privat geführt und mit individuellem Charme, nich 08/15, keine Kette, nicht ein Bett in irgendwo. Und man ist ehrlich. Obwohl sich einige Zimmer im Turm befinden, wird kein Blick zum Bodensee versprochen - auch wenn dies an schönen Tagen dort der fall sein dürfte. Das Personal ist wirklich mehr als freundlich. Offensichtlich daf die junge Crew eigenständig das Hotel führen, man merkt, daß sie sich begeistert engagieren.

Absolut geräuschempfindliche Menschen kann der Lärm von der Bundesstraße stören, leider auch nachts. Es mag Zimmer geben, die von der Straße abgewandt sind.
