Great location, very courteous staff, room was surprisingly generous in size. The fact that the Firm had negotiated a no fee cover for in room internet use was a major advantage. I think this was an excellent business hotel and i would definitely use it again

Other than the elevators being a bit of a pain I do not really have any negatives |

Very long waits for elevators. Had issues with telephone/internet billings, and had to make a lot of calls to deal with that. |

Great location, extremely friendly staff!

Fairly early "last call for food" (for New York) in the on-site restaurants. |

Room was great! Updated and clean. Assigned room 3318 with great view of Times Square. Curtains block the lights from the street and did not hear any noise. Big gym overlooking Times Square, but I did not use it. Can print boarding passes from business center for free but business center use (to check email, etc...) is fee-based. Flat fee taxi ride from JFK is $45.

|
Fee-based internet. Concierge was good but not great. $20 per drink at the View restaurant |

Excellent location in very heart of Times Square. Convenient to theater district, Letterman Show theater, Rockerfeller Center, etc. Staff very professional in my limited interaction with them.

Location, location, and you pay dearly for it. My biggest complaint was the lack of soundproofing between the room door and the hall/atrium area. LOTS of noise at all hours, both from people walking to their rooms and especially people in the atrium lounge areas and other floors. It's a giant sound chamber. Bring earplugs! For the caliber and price of this hotel I didn't expect to be woken up at midnight by sports fans (presumably) cheering in the lounge. I felt like I was at a Motel 6 with a bar next door. Also, breakfast options are very expensive in the hotel. $39 for a breakfast buffet is robbery, even in NYC (and the cost wasn't even coming out of my pocket as I was on business). Walk across the street to McDonald's and get a decent breakfast for $7 and a nice view of Times Square. |

Good view of Times Square.
Good location.
Wonderful elevators. I like its systematic movement like a coaster or a rocket.

great location

The sound proof was terrible, you could hear all the noises from the room next door. The staff were unfriendly, and not helpful at all. There were no bathrobes or other amenities that you would expect in a 5* hotel. All the national TV Channels didn't work and this despite calling maintenance. The internet services was OK but I was charged for usage everyday when in fact I had used it once! I was told by the unhelpful and unfriendly staff that it was my responsibility to notify them when I wasn't using it! Apparently once you use it on day 1 it automatically goes on your bill as used for the rest of your stay. This has never happened at any other hotel. |

Jonathan (front desk associate) is great! He gives you a very homey welcome. He is very pleasant to talk to and ensures that my stay is comfortable and up to the Marriott high standards. He knows most of the guests (at least the ones that I check-in with at the same time) by name. |
