Spacious rooms. Central location on Bloor street.

The elevator is quite old - currently being refurbished. Internet access pretty complicated

September 2009
Room is as expected. Most staff is friendly. Gym is great.

One night, at about 9pm, someone came to take the room service tray from the hallway outside my door, where I had set it, and made enough noise to wake the whole floor...repeatedly, taking no car. Also, when I checked in, I was told that a refrigerator would be brought up the next day...it was never brought to the room during the entire weeks stay. Also, the consierge lounge food, specifically dinner, lacks any lean protien...any protien is always breaded and fried. This is not the case in many marriott's, including the one in Calgary. Also, consierge lounge sometimes puts the dinner food away prior to 7:30...putting the food away at 7:24 is not acceptable.

excellent and comfortable stay - and price was great (SAP, AG.) Also, housekeeping staff (Rhoda?) helped me to recover my wedding band which I had left on the desk after my checkout. Excellence.

Service is great and rooms are clean and very comfortable.

Food and beverages are expensive in the hotel. Be prepared for $18 breakfasts and $40 to $60 dinners.

April 2007
The room service and restaurant staff were very courtious and friendly.

The noise from the slamming doors (either guests or housekeeping) was very annoying and kept us up during the mornings we were trying to sleep in. Also, our room had a slow draining sink.

For Gold and Platinum guest, the hotel offers a free concierge lounge. My rate include hi-speed internet but not North American calling.

Some rooms are a considerable walk from the elevators.

The only issue is that the hotel charge local call for 1.50 CAD each. It is normally unknown to people before the bill is arrived.
