 Splendid architecture especially in the dining room.

 Breakfast tables not cleared quick enough. When I came to breakfast (a) there were many tables empty but still full of used breakfast things & (b) there was actually no free table that was laid ready for the next person. This was a bad impression and the situation is not acceptable for a good quality hotel. A qualified breakfast manager is needed to ensure that the staff clear and relay tables very quickly. No restaurant should have tables left uncleared. |

The staff is very oompetent and friendly; break-fast and meals are good; the dining hall is of unique style.

| The quality of the room varies; I was in a part with a very poor quality, wallpaper not fixed / broken, carpet old and ugly. The floors are of medium low quality. |

| Smoking in M&M-bar should NOT be allowed. Our clothes smelled of smoke, and for that reason we will not enter the M&M-bar again even if it's cosy |

Ideal location. Friendly staff. Good rates given. Pool, sauna & steam room very good.

| Melamine equipment and very old rooms are not worth 4 stars. I would rate it 3 Stars only. Location description sounds flashy "between theater and gallery, but walking to station, however short, requires passing of drunks and junkies. More adequate description would be: "Behind the train station" |

That we could obtain our luggage at the hotel until 15.00, and the possibility to get a shower after the marathon.

| You should have a look yourself. Seems like carpets and other interior decoration was never replaced after the hotel opened (in the 19th cen?. This is a disgrace to Hamburg. |

| Everything was OK ,the thing is Location of the hotel was extremely good.
Very close to Haubtbahnof, Mönkeberg str and Rathaus etc. |
