The holtel is very close to the SAP office

The hotel is a good value for money but I would not recommend for more than two nights. The breakfast offers very little choice and the coffee was really poor quality. The hotel does not have a restaurant and you need to drive to get to a nearby restaurant. Next to the hotel there is an event venue which hosts parties. During my stay there was a party going until 3AM and could not sleep the whole night. The rooms only offer internet through netwrok cable and could not use iphone.

I had a quiet, spacious room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was somewhat on the weak side. I would have loked to have some fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers, as well as a variety of fruits and juices.

October 2011
I have stayed in Maldron Hotel Citywest for 13 nights in October 2011. The hotel is really very clean, nice firnished, accomodated with anything you need for a stay, including free internet access (cable), an iron and trousers press in each room, as well as complementary coffee and tea with a boil can. The bathroom is modern and clean. The breakfast is really worth its price - fresh, tasty and varied. It was a good experience for me to try the typical Irish breakfast. The staff, all of them: front desk, chambermaid, stir restaurant, was always helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the hotel. The location of the hotel is far from the city center but on 10 minutes walk distance from City West Business Center, where is SAP office, which suited me perfectly well. You can get from there to the city center quite easily by bus (the bus stop is right in front the hotel, takes about 50 minutes in high hours) or Luas railway (there is a Luas stop on 10 minutes walk distance, the trip takes about 40 minutes).

Very clean and nice hotel with friendly staff. Thye price-quality ration is very good and I do recommend this to the business traveller.

Keep in mind it is far from the city center - reachable only by taxi (you should not rely on the bus - it goes by around 1 hour). There is a retaurant next to the hotel and that is the only one in the region.

Very cheap for a very good quality ! 5 minutes walking from SAP Dublin buildings Good restaurant and Bar

too far from the city center. Only one bus is leading to the hotel, and this bus has usually 45 min to 1 hour frequency. The best solution is to take a taxi (45 euros from the airport)

Changing the room or getting a LAN cable was possible without problems. Personnal always very helpful.

Location a bit far away from Dublin center. Rooms toward the 4 lane street are quite noisy. Breakfast did not change at all in a 2 week period.

evening meal is nearby restaurant which I assumed was part of hotel - it is not! You need cash/credit card, not hotel room number to pay for it. Food good though.

I was very pleased with all aspects of this hotel, the person staying was a truck driver whose job had been put on hold and he said that it was 'lovely' and I would like to add that Miss L Hallissey was very helpful and has a wonderful attitude towards customers. We will be using the hotel again.

the only negative was that the restaurant does not open until 5, and there are very limited meal options between breakfast and dinner.

The only bus is the 69 and there's not really a service on sunday/public-holiday. There are no shops or bars within walking-distance.
