When leaving the Zurich Airport take the motorway towards Zurich and after about 6.4 km take the motorway towards Lucerne sign posted Chur-Zurch-City. Keep on this road which leads through Zurich. Continue following the signs for Chur-Lucerne until you take the A3 motorway exit. Continue on the A3 until the exit for Zurich-Brunau. Leave the motorway and drive in the direction of Sihlbrugg-Lucerne. Keep on this road about 19km until you reach the motorway exit A4 in direction of Lucerne-Gotthard and continue towards Lucerne. After about 28 km there is the motorway intersection Rotsee-Emmen-Sued. Leave the motorway at this intersection and turn left at the first crossroads. Drive over the Ibachbridge and continue straight over the second crossroads and first roundabout. Continue to drive straight until you reach the next roundabout-crossroads where you follow the signs for Lucerne-City on the Gerliswilstrasse. Drive over the small bridge.
