November 2012
"Normally quiet room, small, but well furnished and OK value for the price. "
"Fairly quiet room until 4 AM when the loudest smoke alarm that I've ever heard went off and sounded, deafeningly, for nearly 15 minutes. Apparently someone too floors below had burned toast. It seems very stingy (and unhandy) that the WiFi is charged for exorbitantly, and is time-consuming to connect. Said to be near Victoria station, but it isn't."

"in Kensington, near the center, in a quiet side street, short walk to the subway and to restaurants and shopping."
"Hotel is showing its age, rooms at the back overlook a dirty backyard."

"If quiet and relatively centrally located and close to Underground"
"Room condition and price do not match. Maybe I had an old single rooms, but 96 pounds is not worth it. Not even in combination with the breakfast. Max 70 pounds. Would I book only in emergencies again."

October 2011
"The staff was extremely friendly, especially at reception. This has more than compensated for some of the weaknesses of the hotel. My request for room change was met without hesitation. The location is very good."
"The first room had no heating in the bathroom (radiators available, but TT) - 13 degrees at 07:00 morning. The heating in the room, a "heating air position on the wall" was too loud to run at night. Overall, everything moderately clean, the bathrooms old and the fittings completely calcified, all very dusty. Only a room change brought a south-facing, warmer room in better condition. A short breakdown of the hot water throughout the house, otherwise va mediocrity."

"For British standards, a very good hotel. Good Pres for money for the location in Kensington residential districts. Quiet street, easy access to the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow Airport (40 minutes). Nearby shopping."
