Hotel description Leopold Hotel Sheffield

Smart and sophisticated yet fun and quirky, Leopold Hotel is Sheffields first boutique hotel set in a smart Tuscan-styled square in the city centre. Originally, a Grade II listed boys grammar school, it is now a vibrant place to stay with stylish conference facilities, good food and a stylish bar. Tall arched ceilings and windows give the lobby and terrace bar a realsense of space while ultra-modern furniture contrasts with old school photographs on the walls. Enjoy cocktails on the terrace, overlooking the square, followed by a meal in the bar or in one of the private dining suites. The hotels central position means you can easily head out to a nearby theatre or enjoy the citys vibrant nightlife. The Leopold Hotel is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.

"Beautiful hotel, interesting architecture, helpful staff, friendly staff, close to town, close to the university, close to trams, walkable from the station. Why bother with anywhere else in Sheffield? "

"Small reception area tucked away in a narrow and busy corridor. Room was OK but faced a noisy courtyard of pubs and restaurants. Car parking is some distance from the hotel. False fire alarm occurred twice in the early hours of the morning around 3am."

"Excellent location for university and downtown. Overall, friendly and competent staff. A hotel with character."

"The room was very cold when we arrived, and it took quite a while until a comfortable temperature was erriecht. Desirable would be free access to the Internet."

"The entire staff of the hotel were really friendly and accommodating. This is something I have long not seen. The hotel is just fantastic to the position! I would immediately go back to this hotel and would highly recommend."

"If you have a room facing the courtyard, it is very noisy at night. Unless you celebrate with! And the restaurant, which belongs to the hotel, the tables and chairs only in the courtyard and when we were there, it was too cold to sit outside."
