A very nice hotel. Small but elegant. The staff is very kind and the rooms are ok.

A little hard to find at the first sight. But if you have a good GPS and you pay attention you'll manage to find it.

Excellent hotel (except the chairs). The young woman at the desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

There wasn't a really comfortable reading chair in the room or lobby.

Friendly staff. Excellent location with a beautiful view from the room. Modern and old style in a pleasent mix.

A very small elevator and you need to use it if you must move between your room and the reception.

Whilst the exterior building retrains it's original features, the rooms are very modern in furnishings and decor having underwent a major refit in 2007 (although floors 4/5 have yet to be completed and I was told are very different to the rest of the hotel!) On a final note, I would like to add that the hotel staff were very accommodating; friendly and spoke some english (which was extremely helpful as my german is 'limited').

Finding the hotel proved extremely difficult - Landstuhl is located in a hilly area; spread over a number of levels; full of narrow streets and predominantly a one way system. The hotel is not situated at street level and to access the hotel by car, you need to navigate and drive up what is no more than cobbled pathways - I was driving a VW Golf and only just managed to manoeuvre the car through the openings between the buildings (there's lots of evidence that others were not so lucky!). To return to street level is exactly the same so you do need your wits (and confidence) about you.
