very good service, gym is awesome, but would like a bit more addtional stuff like virtual golf, squash courts or fitness class for free, due to the price.
Quite expensive, and breakfast was too expensive and not included as a package. They offered a package for 600RMB including breakfast and lunch and access to lounge, but no reasonable package.

I was impressed with the service in the hotel. No matter where you interacted with the staff, whether it was in a hotel restaurant, concierge, check-in or room service, every single person was exceptional and attentive. I would return to the hotel just because of their commitment to service. Incredible!
Furthermore, the location is ideal. It's close to all of the shopping, downtown exhibits, Expo 2010, etc. So many places are within walking distance, which makes the hotel a perfect place to stay.
Considering the price of the hotel and the room quality and service, the price of the hotel is very reasonable. However, the food in all of the restaurants and room service is grossly overpriced. The food is very good, but when compared to other restaurants in the area, you will pay twice as much (if not more) for the food in the hotel. The only benefit of eating in the hotel is that the staff speaks English. This is not the case in surrounding restaurants in downtown.

Although the Hotel is situated on the corner of a busy junction - it is ideally placed, affording it's guests easy access to the local public transport, or just a short stroll from one of the central shopping areas of Shanghai.
Having a unique design, the building itself is easily found among the Shanghai skyline.
The hotel staff are very professional and extremely polite - in my opinion the service is second-to-none.
My room was spotlessly clean and had everything that I could possibly need.
I don't have a negative comment to make about this hotel.
