good location
staffing rudness and inability to satisfy guests needs and inquiries. there was an error with reservation, but staff was not willing to comprehend that 2 night with breakast and the 3rd without breakfast does not make sense. at check, staff was also unwelcoming as if she was too busy to welcome new guest, I was asked what I needed as I approched the front desk, and when I said I wanted to check in, there was no reaction, I had to ask if she needed my name in order to find my reservation, I only got a nod back, not even a smile, after she checked on my name, I was asked why I reserved a room for 2 when there was only me at the front desk, I explained that the other person is in the car because we did not know where to park, and I was hope to get help with parking, that did not go well with her

convenient location and easy access to major city landmarks
At check in felt like being interogated by receptionist. I had originally reserved 2 night with breakfast, on the last day I added a third night. at check out, I was told I had to pay for breakfast for the last day because I did not indicate that I wanted breakfast, when I explained that I clearly wanted breakfast since my previous reservation had breakfast, I was told no, and I ended up paying for it to avoid arguing with receptionist

Excellent location, nice modern rooms and large enough, great breakfast
Air-conditioning was working, but couldn't cool the air in the room, the room was too hot. No shoe-polish in the room or even no shoe-polishing machine in the whole hotel.
