Clean and cheap. Staff very friendly and happy to help. The receptionist when though the trouble of printing a map and highlighting direction on it for me. Seconds from the metro station (the hotel actually in within the metro station/retail complex).

I was woken up around 5 am on Saturday by drunken noisy people coming out of the metro station (which is as mention above within the same building).

We liked the position - inside the ostbahnhauf station. Not even necessary to go outside. Direction signs to the hotel very good. Restaurant good with excellent staff. Free public transport cards a bonus.

We asked for a non-smoking room but the room given to us was stinking of cigarettes. Had to ask for air freshner. Only one small pillow each. Had to ask for extra. Door handle was falling off - had to get maintenance. Room rather small.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Free travel card and close proximity of Ostbahnhof station make getting around Berlin very, very easy. Hotel has an excellent, reasonably priced menu, alternatively there are numerous food outlets just outside the hotel, on the station concourse.

Soundproofing in room was exceptionally poor.

I was unaware that the hotel was in the train station. That made things so easy and the fact that they provided a train and bus ticket for us. The workers were so nice and very helpful. I would suggest this hotel to everyone and would stay there again if ever in Berlin.
