The airport is some way away and a cab cost ca Euro 13 to 16

nice, clean and quality room, great value for money. railway station within 5-6 walking distance to city center. booking online is a cakewalk with no hassles regarding credit card information and a great rational cancellation policy.

perhaps the directions on how to get there from Koln, Bonn train stations could be clearer or maybe its just me!!

Enjoyed my stay so much that I stayed two more nights there. I find the breakfast very expensive and as I don't eat much for breakfast, I did not have breakfast there. Had a problem with noisy guests banging doors at 1 am in the morning. Called the night staff who dealt with it fairly promptly. Although the location was near to the train station, there was nothing to do in the area. Maybe the hotel could put on more entertainment for the guests eg a film evening as I found the evenings quite boring. The choice of wine was not good. I would expect a higher quality wine for Germany! The room was very comfortable and good shower.
