Entering the room i found quite a lot fruit flies (~100) in one corner of the room. (And some dead ones on the pillow) Attzending at the front desk the first question was: "Have you opend the window?". Well I was not amused at all. I got another fly free room. Since this issue is known at the hotel, I would have expected a more professional incident handling. I decided to avoid this hotel in the future when possible. |

| I requested parking when I made my booking, but when I arrived I was told I should park in the car-park outside the hotel. As I do not speak much German one of the hotel staff explained that I should put 6 Euros into the parking machine and that would suffice for 24 hours (in fact this was printed on the ticket). I placed the ticket on the dashboard and even paid for a second ticket on the morning I left because the original ticket expired at 8.00 a.m. Even so the parking authorities contacted the hire car company and told them I had parked illegally without a 'disc' (the machine said nothing about discs). I have already had to pay 25 Euros because that is what it costs the hire car company to provide the address of the hirer and am now awaiting the fine. I am not sure who is to blame but the hotel should be aware of this so that others do not get into trouble when they have done nothing wrong and complied exactly with the regulations. This also gives a very bad impression to foreigners. I still have the original parking tickets and can show them if required.
