This “Gründerzeit” - mansion, built 1893 in Wilhelminian style, is situated in the heart of Bonn, next to the historical “Musikerviertel” (musician quarter) and four minutes walking distance to the main station. Conveniently located to reach all points of interests on foot, bus or train.
The world-famous “Beethoven House” and the highlights of art to be admired at the different houses of the Bonn Museum Mile, the university as well as the atmospheric boat-trips on the river “Rhine” are attainable in a few minutes. Also the environment is worth an attendance - the “Siebengebirge” (Germany´s oldest national park) with its medieval castles and the “Ahrtal” (valley of river Ahr) and its vineyards. Due to the proximity of the cities Cologne, Koblenz and Dusseldorf the hotel “Villa Esplanade” is an ideal starting-point for business, culture and leisure.

 Location is excellent as it really is a short walk from the main station. Room was good but not outstanding at the price.

 Lack of reception staff for 8.30 arrival on a weekday is a weakness. The Irish Pub next door where I collected the keys was pleasant enough but I can imagine it getting crowded later on. |

| The hotel was in an historic district just a ten minute walk from city center. The room was very quiet and clean. Nice sheets and nicely equiped. Parking was secure and inexpensive. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. |
