The Hotel Trocadero is located in the heart of Nice, very close to the central station and only within a 20 minute walk from the beach. It is situated at a crossing with many shopping facilities.
All our 40 rooms were recently renovated and are soundproof. They are provided with air condition, bathroom with toilet, TV and direct dial telephone. WLAN is available at the reception.
Only a short walk away you will find a laundry, bike and car rental, supermarkets, a shopping mall, fitness and beauty centres, a cinema, a nightclub, restaurants and pubs.

 2005 frisch renoviert, wifi, lift, zentrale lage 5 min vom bahnhof, 20 min zum strand

 klimaanlage und wifi haben nicht funktioniert. das hotel liegt in der bahnhofsgegend und die umgebung wirk vor allem abends etwas "wild". jede menge lokale rundhereum, eher schwarze und ndische kunden. kein richtuger parkplatz - zwischen 9 und 19 uhr muss man bezahlen |

Reception staff were very friendly. Room was small but reasonable for the location in Nice. It was a 15 minute walk to the beach and there was plenty to look at on the way. The main shopping street with the trams is the next block which is handy for getting around. WIFI was availvable, as was air conditioning and TV.

| Bathroom had just been renovated, but needed to be cleaned with some bleach, as the mildew was growing in the grout and could have been easily prevented with proper cleaning. We needed to open the window after coming in after being out, as the mouldy smell was a bit overwhelming.
The location of the hotel is not the best (its near the train station but in a fairly dodgy area) however you could avoid most of the riffraff simply by walking up the main street rather than by coming from the other direction. |
