I am from England, and picked a hotel that was outside of the city centre. The hotel is a short walk (half a mile) from an S Bahn station - or there is a very regualr bus. The hotel looks charming from the outside, like a alpine hotel, and the staff were excellent and spoke very good English. The room was nice and large, with a good bathroom. However, the jewel of this hotel was its fitness facility. It was WONDERFUL! Several saunas, rest areas and a swimming pool and hot tub, spread over a large area. There was also a fitness area as well. I didn't use the restaurant, only a drink which was billed to me at the end. They have free internet access in the lobby as well, and a drinks machine (reasonable price) rather than a minibar. Overall, very nice indeed, and I would certainly come back.

Distance from city centre might be an issue for some people. It's not in a very "lively" area, althouhg as I mentioned the public transport was excellent.

Very nice rooms, overall nice hotel near see ( normally qyuite area if no drunk people shouting at night )and very nice wellness area; Hotel to be recommended.

We had ( for the second time ) agian noise from outside ( drunk people playing near the see, directly under the hotel windows ); the breakfast team could be more friendly; personnal cares people as customers and not as guests. No minibar in room , one bottle water costs 5 € which is nonsense

Superb restaurant, beautiful terrace. Very friendly staff. Excellent S-Bahn connection to Mitte.

Single rooms on back side of building lack lake views. No refrigerator/minibar. Swimming pool, in addition to sauna, is an FKK (textile free) zone.
