The hotel has a total of 39 spacious rooms of which there are 18 double rooms. Your four-legged friends are welcome in the hotel too. The spacious hotel has ample own parking spaces. Our rooms are all equipped with a desk, internet access and a telephone.

The Hotel Praterstern is situated in the heart of Vienna. This attractive establishment lies between the well-known Prater and the famous St Stephen’s Cathedral and is an ideal starting point from which to discover the lively city.
Our guest rooms are modern and comfortably furnished. All rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities, TV, telephone, internet access and a work area with desk. You may choose between attractive single rooms, spacious doubles and family rooms.
The Prater features numerous attractions and is just a 5 to 10-minute walk away. St Stephen’s Cathedral and the city centre are around 15 to 20 minutes’ walk from the hotel. After a long city tour, the best place to relax is in the hotel garden, or alternatively in the hotel bar. This bike-friendly hotel also offers a bicycle and inline skate hire service.
Since 2002 we are awarded with the Austrian Eco Label for tourism.

"Extremely clean hotel, friendly people, nice old building to enjoy the spirit of ancient Austrian buildings but extremely clean and modern rooms. In the case of nice weather you can enjoy your breakfast in a nice small internal garden. The hotel is more than 100 years old and the building was a former residence of the game keepers of the Emperor. The entrance was formerly used by horses. The hotel is located in a strategic position near the Prater: two metro stations nearby and the train station with trains (S7) going straight to the Airoport.
I was astonished when I discovered that the hotel has only one star ... it should be classified at least as a three stars hotel!"
