The room was very clean and quiet. A good place to stay for a student or anyone with a limited budget whose intention is to explore the city rather than stay indoors.

Reception attendance was erratic (it is supposed to open at 12 pm, I was there at 12.24, there was no one!) Breakfast time is too short if you wake up late like me (i.e. 8 - 10 am) - I missed breakfast the first day! Breakfast options were quite limited. If you are to stay there, carry enough cash to pay for your whole stay on arrival. The bathroom door in the room I was allocated is too low - I severely banged my head against the frame three times and learned the hard way!

Amazing deal on pension. I could not find a speck of dirt anywhere; the room was basic but very new and clean; the staff was extremly friendly and helpful. This is not a 5-star hotel in terms of amenities, but if you are looking for an above average place to stay in Berlin (West) for a great deal, I highly recommend Hotel Pension Arta.
