The hotel is located in the heart of Geneva close to the central train station; bus station; Geneva Lake and the Jet deau; 10 minutes away from the International Airport; the Palexpo Exhibition Center and United Nations. The hotel also benefits from being close to the main public transport lines. Hotel Moderne offers you a free access Card to use the bus and trains all over Geneva during your whole stay. Additional information; Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with paying adult. Children age 7-12 will pay the Extra Child Charge of CHF 15 per night.   I'm highly disappointed with this hotel and don't know how this can be rated as a 3 star hotel. The hotel is old, so are the rooms and the furniture, very badly maintained, staff is not at all friendly. All is all a very unsatifying experience.
