Le Bristol is a magnificent 18th century style palace with fine antique furniture, an outstanding collection of Gobelins and Lille tapestries and old master paintings, many of which were acquired from an auction of reserve works staged by the Louvre Museum before the Second World War. Le Bristol has been consistently renovated and modernized since 1980 and every year introduces new improvements to conserve the hotels treasured heritage. Each room has been decorated using chintz and silk curtains to match the sofas and counterpanes, antique engravings and furnishings, crystal chandeliers and Persian carpets. All components are in perfect coordination with Le Bristols style of exhibiting freshness, elegance, harmony and simplicity. Pastel shades used in conjunction with brighter colors of emerald green and rapsberry, in addition to thick carpets and matching fabrics in taffeta and velvet, are all signature elements of Le Bristols decor. The fabrics used are from leading designers such as Frey, Rubelli and Nobilis, while the engravings and paintings are all originals. Extra beds are available for an addl cost of 100 Euros per night.
